Peace, I’m Simone! An innovative program curator, community organizer, storyteller, and creative with roots from the East Bay, California. 

Community centers the heart of my work. Expanding across social justice education, youth leadership, or creating platforms that honor QTBIPOC (Queer, Trans, Black, Insidengous, People of Color), I’m drawn to projects and collaborations that are rooted in purpose and creativity. 

I created Color Herstory as a love letter to my younger self, sisters, and young people alike to bring forward liberation through art and accessible education. I honor influential women of color who shape/d the world by using color books and visual storytelling. They are a combination of art, education, reclamation, and affirmation of our individual and collective power. 

Professionally I have worked across nonprofit operations and leadership, event and social media management, youth programming, and executive support. I’ve worn many different hats and built systems where they did not always exist. Whether I’m building curriculum, curating media communications, planning an event, managing programs, or supporting leaders behind the scenes, I bring forward deep care, intention and strategy into everything I do.
